QA Automation Engineer (JS)

Summary

The customer is a global information company (ranked 11th on Forbes’ list of the fastest-growing innovative companies). It creates a unique software product of its own design, the users of which are world-renowned companies (NASA, Samsung, Sony, etc.).

The task is to develop a platform for accessing documents that are not publicly available on the Internet. The platform is targeted at technicians and engineers engaged in innovation.

The platform uses Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.

Responsibilities

• Operational support of the existing framework and migration to the new one – Cypress.
• Coordinating the work of team members to resolve issues that arise.
• Monitoring product quality and coordinating solutions to emerging problems assigned to the teams.
• Participating in the testing of product performance during the CI/CD processes.
• Supporting the existing pipelines.
• Organizing and monitoring the defect management process in teams.
• Influence the inclusion of test-ability during design, groom and development phases.
• Test product in all phases of its life cycle including production.
• Interaction with developers within the project to obtain clear test results and regression areas.

Requirements

• Experience as a QA Automation Engineer for 3+ years.
• Experience with Cypress.
• Experience with Protractor.
• Experience in testing web applications (.Net Core, AngularJS).
• Clear understanding of CI/CD process.
• Clear understanding of what should be tested and on which level (unit/integration/UI).
• Experience with testing Web Applications in Cross-browser and cross-device, using automated tools.
• Level of English – from Intermediate and above.

Desired skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Selenium WebDriver.
• Experience in performance and load testing.
• Experience with monitoring tools.
