System Analyst

Summary

Andersen, an international IT company, invites an experienced System Analyst to work on a large-scale project for one of our customers based in Kazakhstan.

The customer is a leader in the life insurance market in Kazakhstan, providing innovative products and services. The company offers a wide range of life insurance programs tailored to each client. It has received high ratings from S&P Global Ratings and has been repeatedly recognized as an industry leader.

The project is to work on the EDM (Electronic Document Management) cabinet and improve the insurance agent's web portal.

Responsibilities

• Interacting with various client departments and organizations to implement, improve functionality, technologies, and services.
• Interacting with customers and subject matter experts.
• Analyzing feedback received from clients and coordinating the resolution of issues.
• Performing analysis of requirements for the enhancement of online systems and applications, prepared by the initiator.
• Developing technical documentation (technical specification, functional specification, A4) for the task.
• Providing support for online systems and applications, participating in incident and problem resolution in the production environment.
• Participating in software testing.
• Studying new development technologies and applying best practices in the products being developed.
• Transferring knowledge and recommendations to employees of the Department.

Requirements

• Experience as a System Analyst for 3+ years.
• Knowledge of database theory and database design.
• Experience working with MS SQL, PostgreSQL, and Oracle databases.
• Understanding of programming fundamentals.
• Ability to analyze problems and identify issues in systems or microservice code.
• Knowledge of REST, API, Kafka, and RabbitMQ technologies.
• Understanding of CI/CD principles (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Ability to write technical documentation and format it in Confluence.
• Understanding of software development processes.
• Understanding of web service (REST/SOAP), message queuing, and stream principles.
• Understanding of relational (SQL) and NoSQL database fundamentals.
• Experience in developing and agreeing on software requirements/specifications (User Story, Use Case, Technical Specifications).
• Knowledge of system design and process modeling methodologies (BPMN, UML).
• Level of English – from Intermediate.

Desired skills

• Experience in FinTech/ Insurance.
