Summary

Andersen, an international IT company, invites a Support Engineer to work on a large-scale project in the field of Automotive.

The customer is a German company, one of the leading global developers of innovative technologies. The company works with all big names in the automotive industry (Audi, Bentley, BMW, Bosch, Bugatti, Chrysler, Fiat, Volkswagen, Ford, Honda, Mercedes-Benz) and the research sector. And it is involved from initial conceptualization to real-life road testing.

The project is a diagnostic platform that is part of the aftermarket business unit and is designed to meet the needs of all other business units.

Responsibilities

  • Handling 1st category queries by phone and e-mail, such as problems with installation, setting up links in the admin, general non-technical questions about the product, etc.
  • Handling 2nd and 3rd level inquiries, which may include technical problems with the product.
  • Providing information on hardware and software problems.
  • Re-correcting reported anomalies (defects) in the laboratory.
  • Analyzing reported anomalies (defects).
  • Documenting and classifying support-related information in the support database in accordance with GDPR requirements.
  • Documenting the results of the analysis in a central knowledge base in accordance with GDPR requirements.
  • Documenting the above-mentioned information and analysis results in a weekly status report, weekly participation in regular reporting meetings.

Requirements

  • Experience of working as a Support Engineer for 2+ years.
  • Experience of working in a project team.
  • Experience in classical software development.
  • Experience in software testing.
  • Experience in the field of electronic vehicle diagnostics.
  • Confident work with ALM.
  • Proficient work with Jira.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools.
  • Experience with modeling software.
  • Knowledge of CCB DS requirements process.
  • Communication skills, analytical skills, motivation and reliability.
  • Level of English – from Intermediate and above.
  • Level of German – from Upper-Intermediate and above.

Desired skills

  • Strong knowledge of modeling software (SimFrog Suite).
  • Experience in working with defects.
