Frontend Developer (React)

Summary

Andersen, an international IT сompany, invites a Frontend Developer (React) to work on a large-scale project in the field of Manufacturing.

The customer is a Swiss company specializing in integrative building automation, networked infrastructures, and secure data solutions. They offer services such as connectivity, cybersecurity, and web-enabled technology, driving digital transformation in the automation industry.

The project is to develop a messaging broker application that collects large amounts of data, normalizes it, and displays it in the user area.

Responsibilities

• Developing new features and expanding existing functionality.
• Fixing bugs and maintaining technical debt.
• Detecting and describing current codebase issues, proposing solutions, and discussing with the team.
• Creating and describing tasks for resolving technical debt and project migration from JavaScript to TypeScript.
• Detecting blockers and finding optimal migration paths with minimal release cycle impact.
• Rewriting sections/modules/pages and maintaining test infrastructure (Jest, Testing Library), including migrating tests to TypeScript and optimizing test execution speed.
• Redesigning module/section architecture and selecting/implementing optimal development tools.
• Developing basic modules used throughout the application UI Kit (MUI 5) and form/page elements (inputs, tables), including test utilities.
• Conducting code reviews and participating in improving development processes (workflow).

Requirements

• Experience with React development for 4+ years.
• Strong experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Familiarity with Vite for building and bundling applications.
• Experience with MUI 5.
• Knowledge of state management libraries such as Redux and React Query.
• Experience with form management libraries like React Hook Form and validation libraries like Yup.
• Proficiency in React Intl.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest and React Testing Library.
• Familiarity with SWC for fast builds.
• Experience with data visualization libraries like Highcharts and map libraries like Mapbox GL.
• Familiarity with React Konva and React Flow.
• Proactive, self-driven individual with strong communication abilities to independently manage tasks and contribute to team success.
• Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.
