Summary

The IT company Andersen invites an experienced Data Architect to work on a large-scale project for our Azerbaijani partner.

The customer is a leading financial institution headquartered in Azerbaijan, providing a wide range of banking services. With a focus on corporate and investment banking, it offers tailored solutions to meet the diverse needs of its clients. The bank is known for its innovative approach and commitment to digital transformation, offering convenient online tools and platforms for seamless banking experiences. The company has a strong regional presence with representative offices in Turkey, Georgia, Kazakhstan, and the UAE.

The project is the development of applications for the customer.

Responsibilities

  • Organizing and managing tasks to ensure compliance with established approaches, approved policies, and international standards in the field of data within the bank.
  • Investigating, applying, and ensuring the continuous updating of new technologies and approaches in the data field.
  • Analyzing incoming requests, establishing communication with requesters to obtain necessary information, and ensuring execution according to relevant processes.
  • Preparing relevant reports and communicating the analysis results to the associated parties.
  • Designing the data architecture for system-to-system integrations for information exchange and overseeing its implementation.
  • Adhering to the bank's internal rules, processes, policies, and instructions (including the Code of Conduct, Conflict of Interest Policy, and those related to Health, Safety, and Environmental Protection) and be responsible for any violations.
  • Complying with the Bank's Organizational Risk Management Policy.
  • Achieving the semi-annual and annual targets set by the bank and accepted by the employee.

Requirements

  • Experience as a Data Architect for 5+ years.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Visio, Archimate.
  • Knowledge of IT Governance standards and approaches, Agile methodology.
  • Experience in creating and operating Data Warehouse (DWH), Data Lake, Data Lakehouse systems.
  • Experience in creating and designing data models.
  • Experience of working with different data formats (Avro, Parquet, Protobuf, ORC).
  • Experience in working with Online Transaction Processing (OLTP), Online Analytical Processing (OLAP), Extract, Transform, Load (ETL), and Extract, Load, Transform (ELT) processes.
  • Working experience with Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
  • Level of English – from Intermediate+ or above.

Desired skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
