Summary

Andersen, an international IT company, invites an experienced Go Developer to join its team on a project in the field of Banking.

The customer is an innovative bank, a leader in the financial market in Central Asia, providing a wide range of financial services for individuals and legal entities. It actively develops digital platforms and mobile applications to provide customers with convenient access to banking services anytime and anywhere.

The project is the development of the second version of the native mobile app application.

Responsibilities

• Leading the development of backend services and APIs for a banking application, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
• Designing and implementing microservices architecture using Go, Docker, and Kubernetes to facilitate modular and scalable development.
• Implementing efficient database schemas with relational or NoSQL databases, ensuring data integrity and compliance with regulations like GDPR and PCI-DSS.
• Integrating third-party APIs for payment processing and developing middleware for message queueing and asynchronous processing.
• Optimizing code and system performance, implement CI/CD pipelines, and conduct security audits to mitigate risks.
• Documenting design decisions and mentoring junior developers on best practices while keeping abreast of emerging technologies.
• Implementing security measures and encryption techniques to protect sensitive financial data and transactions.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and drive project delivery.
• Mentoring junior developers, conducted code reviews, and contributed to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in software development using Go language, including concurrency, channels, and error handling for 3+ years.
• Proficient in designing and implementing RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and database interactions.
• Strong understanding of relational and NoSQL databases, with expertise in database design, optimization, and query tuning.
• In-depth knowledge of security principles, encryption techniques, and compliance standards relevant to banking applications (e.g., GDPR, PCI-DSS).
• Experience in writing unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Ability to identify and address performance bottlenecks through code optimization, caching strategies, and load testing.
• Proficient in setting up CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, and deployment using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Travis CI.
• Strong documentation skills, with the ability to document design decisions, API specifications, and architectural patterns.
• Experience in mentoring junior developers and conducting knowledge sharing sessions.
• Familiarity with Agile principles and practices, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Level of English – from Intermediate and above.
