The IT company Andersen invites a Project Manager in Oman to join its team for working with a company from Oman.
This position requires on-site in the Muscat office, but we are also open to considering candidates from other countries for relocation.
The customer is a pioneering financial institution in the Sultanate of Oman. It aims to support the housing and construction sectors, contributing to the country's economic development. The bank focuses on achieving shareholder objectives and developing human capital through efficient banking operations and a motivating work environment. It actively supports Omani citizens by offering subsidized financing and reducing waiting list delays.
The project is to support the governance, strategic planning, and operational alignment of the Super App and broader housing ecosystem.
The project assumes a Sunday through Thursday work schedule.
Responsibilities
- Establishing a structured governance framework and strategic roadmap for the Super App.
- Aligning operational processes and banking workflows with the Super App functionalities.
- Identifying the exact scope of work for the application, preparing custom cost-effective solutions, and adjusting the project budget.
- Facilitating stakeholder engagement by coordinating integrations with key partners such as E-Binaa, Namaa, telecom providers, and payment gateways.
- Defining a phased implementation strategy to prioritize feature rollouts based on operational readiness, customer impact, and return on investment.
Requirements
- Experience as a Project Manager for 4+ years.
- Experience in discovery phases, gap analysis, and BRD preparation activities.
- Experience in banking sector.
- Experience working with high class specialists.
- Knowledge of Mena region cultural specific.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.
