Summary

Andersen, an international IT company, invites a Scrum Master to work on a project in the field of FinTech for one of our Austrian customers.

The customer is a global B2B2C insurance and assistance leader offering global solutions that span international health and life insurance, travel insurance, automotive and maintenance. The company offers high-tech products and solutions that go beyond traditional insurance and are easily integrated into partners' businesses or sold directly to clients through the company's brands.

The project focuses on the collection of aggregated financial and user data across the customer's business.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitating daily standups (or the daily scrum) as needed.
  • Protecting the team from over-committing and scope creep.
  • Participating in meetings and capturing feedback.
  • Noting areas for improvement and action items for future sprints.
  • Working as the administrator of the scrum board.
  • Ensuring that cards are up to date and the scrum tools like Jira are working well.
  • Meeting individually with team members and stakeholders as needed.
  • Consulting with team members and internal stakeholders on how best to work with the scrum team.
  • Regular analyzing burndown charts and other portfolio planning tools to understand what gets built and at what cadence.
  • Assisting the team by eliminating external blockers and managing internal roadblocks through process or workflow improvements.

Requirements

  • Experience as a Scrum Master for 2+ years.
  • Leadership skills, ability to guide and support teams without exercising authority.
  • Excellent communication skills to ensure clarity and transparency with team members and stakeholders.
  • Strong empathy and emotional intelligence to understand team dynamics and provide motivation during challenging times.
  • Solid problem-solving capabilities to address obstacles and conflicts.
  • High adaptability and openness to change in response to shifting project and team needs.
  • Proficient facilitation skills to lead scrum ceremonies with focus and efficiency.
  • Experience in coaching and mentoring teams in Agile practices and Scrum framework.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.
