The IT-company Andersen invites an experienced Release Delivery Manager to work on a large-scale e-Commerce project.

The customer is a leading international tobacco company headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, and it operates in more than 130 countries worldwide. With a focus on quality, innovation, and sustainability, it is committed to meeting the evolving needs of adult tobacco consumers.

The task is leading the delivery of several DES Initiatives and coordinating the work of two or more Scrum Teams ensuring the timely delivery of DES Initiatives.


  • Planning, organization and tracking of the delivery of Initiatives across two or more scrum teams.
  • Resolving delivery problems and conflicts in the delivery of DES Initiatives.
  • Ensuring the delivery of initiatives follows DES Engineering Standards and Practices.
  • Ensuring the delivery of initiatives follow the Operational Ready Framework.
  • Managing the DES Delivery Roadmap in collaboration with other Engineering Delivery Managers, Technical Business Owners and Product Chapter Lead.


  • Relevant experience in project delivery and engineering roles for 5+ years.
  • A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of engineering principles and processes relevant to the industry.
  • Ability to comprehend complex technical details and communicate effectively with engineering teams.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with a track record of leading and motivating cross-functional engineering teams.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Kanban.
  • Experience in project management tools (JIRA, Trello).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address project issues and roadblocks effectively.
  • Ability to make informed decisions.
  • Understanding of quality control and assurance processes to ensure project deliverables meet quality standards.
  • A commitment to process improvement and the ability to identify opportunities to optimize project delivery.
  • Ability to occasionally travel to Poland.
  • Ability to work in CET time zone.
  • Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate + and above.

Desired skills

  • Advanced degrees or certifications in project management, business administration, or engineering management can be advantageous.
  • Experience in the ecommerce domain (Magento is a huge plus).
  • Experience with CMS (Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or similar).
  • Experience with Adobe Campaign (ACS) (or similar).
  • Experience with OpenLoyalty (or similar).
