The IT company Andersen invites a Python Developer to work on a project in the field of Retail.
The customer is a retail chain founded in 1932 in the Netherlands. It consists of 13,500 shops in 48 countries, with a total annual turnover of €37 billion. The company is an official sponsor of the European Athletics Association. The vacancy we offer is related to the customer’s Austrian IT branch.
The project is focused on the ERP solution used in manufacturing.
The task is to configure and create a Proof of Concept (POC) for several solutions for the future ERP system. This includes developing services to work with data on the IRIS platform (collecting data from ERP systems and storing it in the IRIS database).
Requirements
- Experience as a Python Developer for 5+ years.
- Experience in Retail or with ERP systems (e.g. oracle ERP, SAP, Acumatica, Microsoft Dynamics, Infor, Sage, etc.)
- Proficiency in databases SQL/MySQL/PostgreSQL.
- Experience with message brokers Kafka, RabbitMQ.
- Experience with REST, SOAP, Microservice architecture.
- Experience with data science with python (e.g. scikit-learn, pandas, NumPy packages).
- Skill in API interfaces development (preferably Flask, but also Fast API).
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker.
- Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.
Desired skills
- Good knowledge in building solutions on Azure or AWS cloud.
- Expertise with embedded Python.
