The IT company Andersen invites a Ruby Developer to join its team for working with a company from Saudi Arabia.

The customer is a holding company in the labour market in Saudi Arabia, operating under the Ministry of Labor. It leads the socio-economic transformation for individuals, society, and the economy by creating unique solutions to fulfil everyone's needs.

This project provides a secure and transparent way to deliver donations to those in need, under the supervision of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development.

Responsibilities

• Developing, maintaining, and enhancing web applications.
• Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Collaborating with the team to understand project requirements and specifications.
• Integrating third-party APIs and services.
• Troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving technical issues.
• Implementing security and data protection measures.
• Optimizing application performance and scalability.
• Conducting code reviews and providing constructive feedback to team members.
• Ensuring code quality through different types of testing and continuous integration.

Requirements

• Commercial experience as a Ruby Developer for 4+ years.
• Experience with integrating payment gateways both synchronously and asynchronously.
• Ability to develop code in a SOA fashion.
• Experience working with relational and non-relational database structures.
• Fluent with utilizing and developing web service APIs.
• Strong understanding of software architecture techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities with attention to detail.
• Level of English – from Intermediate and above.

Desired skills

• Ability to present to all levels of staff and leadership.
• Fluent knowledge of containers and orchestrators technologies specifically Docker & Kubernetes.
• Experience with Oracle databases.
• Experience with SonarQube.
