Java Developer (German language)

The IT company Andersen invites a Java Developer with German language to join its team for working with a company from Austria.

The customer is a software agency that offers exciting opportunities with leading companies worldwide. The company specializes in diversified application development services. Founded in 2019, it operates in the Business Intelligence (BI) Software industry. The team is proud to feature top client companies, and they have a strong presence in Graz, Styria, Austria.

Tech stack on the project: MySQL/PostgreSQL, Gitlab, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud or AWS, Kubernetes, Helm Charts, Docker, Kotlin, SpringBoot.

Responsibilities

• Developing and optimizing of Java-based applications using SpringBoot and Kotlin.
• Implementing and maintaining of database interfaces using JPA (Hibernate) and MySQL/PostgreSQL.
• Ensuring seamless integration and continuous delivery of applications through CI/CD, preferably with Gitlab.
• Collaborating with cloud services such as Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud or AWS (knowledge of MS Azure Application Insight and App Configuration an advantage).
• Using of Kubernetes and Helm Charts or Docker for orchestration and deployment of applications.
• Participating in daily team calls in SET working hours in a Scrum environment.

Requirements

• Experience as a Java Developer for 3+ years.
• Comprehensive experience in development with Java and SpringBoot.
• Experience with Kotlin or fast pickup of the language in a BE environment.
• Understanding of using JPA (Hibernate) and MySQL/PostgreSQL.
• Experience with CI/CD (preferably Gitlab) for continuous integration and deployment of applications.
• Experience with cloud services such as Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud or AWS.
• Experience with Kubernetes and Helm Charts or Docker.
• Level of German – from Upper-Intermediate and above.
• Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.

Desired skills

• Experience with MS Azure Application Insight and App Configuration.
