Full Stack Developer (Node.js+Angular)

Summary

The IT company Andersen invites an experienced Node JS Developer to join its team for working with a company from Switzerland.

The customer is an integrative, technologically leading company, its software helps cities, regions, and utilities to become emission-free. It collects and manages all climate-relevant data and provides a suite of modular applications to better analyze, simulate, plan, and communicate their climate efforts.

The project is an innovative platform for internal and external communication providing transparency to all stakeholders of a region (e.g. citizens, politicians, utilities, local companies). It provides all energy-relevant information for cities, municipalities or regions in an easy to understand manner and quickly at one glance. It allows an easy monitoring of energy efficiency measures over a longer time period as well as the simulation of different strategic options. Local or regional energy strategies can not only be planned digitally but also implemented effectively and visualized in an appealing way.

Responsibilities

• Investigating new opportunities and technologies.
• Implementing new features according to the design.
• Writing unit tests and integration tests.
• Supporting and refactoring of existing code.
• Updating and maintaining packages in the highest version.
• Writing a concept for a design-based functionality (creating documentation with a database model, a list of endpoints for the front, etc.).

Requirements

• Experience in commercial Node.js development for 3+ years.
• Understanding of TypeScript features.
• Knowledge of Nest.js framework.
• Strong PostgreSQL database management skills.
• Proficient in Angular development.
• Mandatory proficiency in RxJs.
• Experience with microservices.
• Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.

Desired skills

• Experience with Mapbox and Svelte.
• Knowledge of Highcharts.
