Andersen, an international IT сompany, invites a Product Owner to work on a large-scale project for one of our US customers.
The customer is a global leader in providing critical information, analytics, and solutions for major industries and markets that drive economies worldwide. The company offers next-generation insights and analytics to customers in business, finance, and government. It is recognized by Forbes and has been featured on several of their lists, including the World's Best Management Consulting Firms.
The project is focused on developing a marketplace application.
Responsibilities
- Creating, maintaining, and prioritizing the product backlog, ensuring it reflects the product's needs and goals.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Writing clear and concise user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Regularly refining and prioritizing the backlog to ensure the most valuable items are being worked on.
- Participating in sprint planning meetings to help the team understand and commit to the highest priority items.
- Participating in the daily meetings with two development teams to get the status of the things they are working on and help where it's needed.
- Reviewing and accepting completed user stories to ensure they meet the defined acceptance criteria.
- Gathering and analyzing customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and new feature opportunities.
- Working closely with development, design, and marketing teams to ensure successful product delivery.
- Identifying and mitigating risks related to product development and delivery.
- Creating mockups and wireframes in the places where that is requested and cannot be helped by a designer's team.
Requirements
- Experience as a Product Owner for 4+ years.
- Knowledge of Business and System Analysis.
- Ability to lead and support a cross-functional, agile team to deliver customer value.
- Skills to create, maintain, and test feature requirements and user stories.
- Ability to align the product roadmap with strategic goals through internal and external analysis.
- Capability to manage the product backlog with product/business teams based on business value or ROI.
- Skills to turn data into customer-centric products.
- Ability to adapt to an agile environment, reevaluate needs, prioritize, define milestones, and identify risks.
- Skills to define business and technical requirements, resources, and processes for complex systems.
- Capability to demonstrate clear, concise, and practical communication.
- Ability to communicate with clients, identify problems, and convey results to both Business and Developers.
- Good understanding of microservices and integrations.
- Basic understanding of working with a database.
- Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.
Desired skills
- Experience as a Project Manager or sole Product Owner responsible for an application.
- Experience in launching products from scratch.
- Facilitation and team management skills.
- Experience interacting with non-technical users and translating their requests into tasks for the development team.
