Java Developer

Summary

Andersen, an international IT сompany, invites a Java Developer to work on a project in the field of FinTech for one of our German customers.

The customer is a world leader in insurance and B2B2C support, which offers global solutions that span international health and life insurance, travel insurance, cars, and their service. The company is dedicated to delivering world-class, agile, and sustainable IT solutions, driving full-spectrum digitalization.

The project aims to address the strong need for a Meta portal that can deliver a unified customer's experience for B2B2C interactions. The primary goal is to cater to client needs by leveraging existing assets and providing digital solutions when necessary.

Technology stack: Java 21, Spring (Boot, MVC, OpenFeign), Hibernate, JUnit, Mockito, CI/CD, Sonarcube, DynamoDB.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing REST API.
• Working with RDBS/NoSQL DBs.
• Implementing authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Configuring and implementing CORS, SMTP, OTP.
• Participating in the design of microservices architecture.
• Debugging and eliminating errors in applications.
• Writing unit and integration tests.

Requirements

• Experience as a Java Developer for 3+ years.
• Proficiency in Java frameworks like Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate.
• Knowledge of Jenkins and similar CI/CD tools.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases like DynamoDB.
• Knowledge of unit testing frameworks like JUnit, Mockito.
• Experience in designing microservice architecture.
• Solid understanding of implementation of authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Proficiency in debugging and performance analysis of applications.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.
• Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.

Desired skills

• Knowledge of Angular.
