QA Automation Engineer (Java)

Summary

Andersen, an international IT company, invites an experienced QA Automation Engineer (Java) to work in the field of Fintech.

The customer is a leading player in the electronic payment systems market in Azerbaijan, with a network of over 2,500 terminals and more than 500 types of services. The company provides convenience and reliability for paying utility bills, mobile services, banking, and government services.

The project is the development of an e-wallet designed for convenient and secure payments and transfers.

Responsibilities

• Creating and maintaining automated tests.
• Identifying and documenting bugs in the product.
• Setting up and supporting integration of automated tests with CI/CD.
• Conducting code-reviews of test scripts and ensuring that they meet quality standards.

Requirements

• Experience as a QA Automation Engineer for 4+ years.
• Strong knowledge of Java, experience in writing autotests, working with automation frameworks.
• Deep understanding of mobile testing (Appium), ability to set up and run tests and analyze results.
• Knowledge of load testing basics.
• Experience with SQL at an advanced level.
• Knowledge and experience in setting up CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in API testing, integration tests (REST, RestAssured).
• Understanding of working with Kafka/RabbitMQ message brokers, experience with queues.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Proficient working with automation tools for Android/iOS.
• Level of English – from Intermediate and above.

Desired skills

• Experience with GitHub Actions.
• Understanding of the principles of Spring framework.
• Experience with Gatling.
• Basic knowledge of the Linux command line, ability to work with logs.
