Backend Developer (Node.js)

Summary

Andersen, an international IT company, invites an experienced Backend Developer (Node.js) to work in a field of Aviation.

The customer is a company that develops and provides digital services and entertainment on board airplanes. Since 2013 it has collaborated with more than 45 airlines around the world. It has received investments from companies such as Boeing HorizonX Ventures and Nekko Capital. The company serves more than 20 million passengers per year and has more than 1000 installed systems on board airplanes.

The project offers an intuitive crew application, enabling airlines to enhance and expand their in-flight sales process.

Technology stack on the project: NodeJS, CI/CD practices, React, React-Native.

Responsibilities

• Developing microservices that will support a new Ecommerce platform for airlines.
• Designing and developing software solutions that meet business needs and requirements.
• Collaborating with the software architect to ensure that software is designed and implemented according to best practices and standards.
• Developing and maintaining technical documentation.
• Working with different codebases.
• Keeping informed of advancements in the field of Node.js development.
• Running diagnostic tests, repairing defects, and providing technical support.

Requirements

• Experience with Node.js for 3+ years.
• Experience in developing and maintaining all server-side network components.
• Knowledge of ensuring optimal performance of the central database and responsiveness to front-end requests.
• Experience in designing back-end services for various business processes.
• Experience in implementing effective security protocols, data protection measures, and storage solutions.
• Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.

Desired skills

• Experience with CI/CD practice.
• Experience with other technology stack, knowledge of React or React-Native.
• You've made new architectures work.
