QA Automation Engineer (JavaScript)

Summary

The IT company Andersen invites a QA Automation Engineer (JavaScript) to work on a project for one of our Thai customers.

The customer is a blockchain technology company that focuses on enhancing scalability and interoperability across various blockchain networks. The company has developed a cross-chain computation platform that enables decentralized applications (dApps) to operate seamlessly across multiple blockchains, effectively merging them into a unified ecosystem.

The project aims to develop and implement automated tests to ensure the quality and stability of the company's software products.

Responsibilities

• Developing, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts using Playwright (preferred), Selenium, or Cypress.
• Performing manual and automated testing of mobile applications (iOS and Android).
• Collaborating with the development and product teams to understand application features and requirements.
• Utilizing the Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence) for tracking and documentation. - Manage test cases and plans using Zephyr.
• Using Postman for API testing and Grafana for monitoring application performance.
• Leveraging browser Dev Tools for debugging and identifying issues.
• Continuously improving test processes and frameworks, keeping up-to-date with the latest testing tools and techniques.
• Conducting compatibility and usability testing across different devices and platforms.

Requirements

• Experience as a QA Automation Engineer for 3+ years.
• Proficiency in one or more automation tools: Playwright (preferred), Selenium, or Cypress.
• Strong experience with the Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence) and Zephyr.
• Familiarity with API testing using Postman.
• Experience with performance monitoring tools like Grafana.
• Solid understanding of browser Dev Tools for debugging and performance profiling.
• Level of English – from Intermediate and above.

Desired skills

• Experience in mobile application testing, including automation frameworks for mobile (e.g., Appium).
• Experience in performance and load testing.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into the development lifecycle.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
