System Engineer (DevOps)

Summary

The IT company Andersen invites an experienced System Engineer (DevOps) to join its team for working with our customer from the UK.

The customer is a company that offers data-driven solutions for people, risk and capital management. Leveraging the global vision and local expertise of colleagues across 140 countries and markets, it helps to sharpen the strategy, improve organizational resilience, motivate people and maximize performance.

The project is a global migration of the deployment process to Harness.IO. To ensure a successful transition and enhance the client's internal expertise, we will integrate the skilled employees into the existing team.

Technology stack on the project: Desktop development, C#, .NET, MSSQL, Git, CI/CD (Azure DevOps + pipelines), Monolithic architecture, Harness.IO.

Responsibilities

• Working closely with the architect to analyze the current deployment process.
• Contributing to creating a detailed migration roadmap to Harness.IO.
• Designing, implementing, and optimizing scalable CI/CD pipelines in Harness.IO.
• Ensuring the transition aligns with industry best practices and project requirements.
• Automating deployment tasks and streamlining the migration process.
• Ensuring consistency in configuration across environments using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools.
• Identifying and resolving deployment issues during and after migration.
• Monitoring migration progress and post-transition performance to ensure system stability.
• Documenting the migration process, including pipeline setup, workflows, and operational practices.
• Integrating Harness.IO with the client's existing tools and infrastructure.
• Ensuring seamless functionality of all connected systems and third-party services.
• Communicating progress and challenges effectively to all stakeholders.

Requirements

• Experience as a System Engineer (DevOps) for 3+ years.
• Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services and solutions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.

Desired skills

• Experience with Harness.IO.
