The international IT-company Andersen invites an experienced Backend Developer (Node.js) to work on a project of our partner from Germany.
The customer is a leading German comparison service that assists consumers in finding and switching to the best offers in areas such as electricity, gas, internet, mobile communications, finance, and insurance. Since 1998, the company has been saving time and money for its customers by providing transparent and up-to-date tariff comparisons.
The project is providing consumers with up-to-date information and tools to choose the most cost-effective insurance options, enabling them to save money and secure optimal insurance terms.
Technology stack on the project: NodeJS, Kubernetes/G-cloud, Docker, Angular, RabbitMQ, Jenkins, PHP, ELK.
Responsibilities
- End-to-end development, test and deployment of new components.
- Transitioning and re-engineering of our existing web platform.
- Designing and extension of our Micro-Services based web architecture with high-functional and high-performance features.
- Working hand in hand with UX, QA and Product Owner in an agile working environment including continuous integration and continuous deployment.
Requirements
- Experience as a Backend Developer (Node.js) for 3+ years.
- Good knowledge in Micro Services and DevOps infrastructure such as Kubernetes/G-Cloud, Docker & Jenkins.
- Experience of development and implementation of REST API's.
- Experience with Agile Method Practice (Kanban).
- Experience in web and/or e-commerce projects.
- Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.
Desired skills
- Experience with PHP.
- Experience in web and/or eCommerce projects.
- Knowledge of the German language.
