Application Developer (Oracle)

Summary

The IT company Andersen invites an Application Developer (Oracle) in Abu Dhabi to join its team for working with a company from UAE.

The customer is a government entity that manages public affairs and oversees various corporate and philanthropic projects. The company is embarking on a transformative digital journey to enhance its operational efficiency and customer experiences.

The project focuses on digital transformation in the UAE to develop and support digital solutions, enhance social services, strengthen public engagement, advance international relations, and optimize administrative processes.

Technology stack: SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Database, Oracle APEX, Oracle Forms and Reports, Oracle Fusion Middleware, Git, Jenkins, Oracle WebLogic Server.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining Oracle-based applications using PL/SQL, APEX, and Oracle Forms and Reports.
• Writing and optimizing SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers.
• Ensuring database performance and data integrity.
• Integrating Oracle applications with other systems using Fusion Middleware.
• Troubleshooting and resolving database and application issues.

Requirements

• Experience with Oracle and PL/SQL development for 3+ years.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Database and related tools (Oracle APEX, Oracle Forms and Reports).
• Familiarity with Oracle Fusion Middleware for integration tasks.
• Experience in optimizing database performance and writing efficient SQL/PL SQL code.
• Knowledge of development tools like Git and Jenkins.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.
