Frontend Developer (React Native)

Summary

Andersen, an international IT company, invites a Frontend Developer (React Native) to work on a large-scale project for the UK customer.

The customer is a restaurant chain that offer a unique culinary journey, presenting a new six-course tasting menu every six weeks. The restaurant chain has multiple locations across the UK and Ireland, including cities like Glasgow, Edinburgh, Belfast, and Dublin. The company is renowned for its creative approach to cooking and high-quality service.

The project is the development of a comprehensive mobile application with features such as online table booking, experimental content showcasing new dishes, a loyalty program, etc.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining the cross-platform mobile application as per the finalized designs and requirements.
• Ensuring smooth integration with backend APIs and third-party services.
• Optimizing the app for high performance on both iOS and Android platforms.
• Addressing any issues related to rendering, load times, or device-specific bugs.
• Implementing platform-specific features where necessary, utilizing native modules or platform APIs.
• Ensuring the app adheres to the design and functional guidelines of both iOS and Android.
• Writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Implementing unit tests and participating in QA processes to ensure app stability and quality.
• Collaborating with the QA team, UI/UX designer and backend developers.
• Preparing the app for deployment to the App Store (iOS) and Google Play Store (Android).
• Addressing any issues during the app review process.
• Providing post-launch support, including bug fixes and feature enhancements.

Requirements

• Experience in React Native development for 3+ year.
• Proficient in JavaScript, TypeScript, and mobile app lifecycle.
• Familiarity with native modules and third-party library integration.
• Experience in handling app deployment on Play Store and App Store.
• Strong debugging and optimization skills.
• Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.
