Junior System Analyst

Summary

The IT company Andersen invites a Junior System Analyst to join its team for working with a company from Kazakhstan.

The customer is the market leader and the largest microfinance organisation in Kazakhstan. It represents a business model of a classic microfinance organisation, successfully adapted to the economy of Kazakhstan, focused on financing micro and small businesses, predominantly in rural areas. The company is focused on building long-term partnership relationships with clients based on mutual trust, understanding, and respect.

The project is in the field of Fintech and aims at an innovative approach in providing banking services.

Responsibilities

• Interacting with business customers and analysts, developing business requirements within the product/platform/digital solution/business process.
• Preparing technical specifications for the development, verification, and modification of individual solutions and products.
• Describing and creating templates for contracts/protocols/notifications for automatic generation.
• Developing the logical structure and proposals for database indexing.
• Data quality analysis (identification of legacy data not meeting current requirements).
• Documenting project solutions in Confluence.
• Working with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and MiniO databases.
• Designing and testing REST/SOAP APIs.
• Identifying any technical limitations/issues.
• Evaluating implementation methods in collaboration with Tech Lead and architects within the development of the product/platform/digital solution.
• Preparing and transitioning the product to operation.
• Data analysis from CDP (Customer Data Platform) using GraphQL queries.
• Interacting with outsourcing teams involved in the implementation, support, and development of the bank's paid external accounting system, Colvir.

Requirements

• Experience working as a System Analyst for 6+ months.
• Knowledge of basic web technologies (HTML, DNS, etc.).
• Ability to work with databases (any, for example, PostgreSQL).
• Knowledge of SQL at the level of SELECT queries (ability to retrieve any information from the database for analysis without involving a programmer).
• Experience in Fintech or a related field.
• Understanding of software engineering principles and technologies, software system structure, and information system.
• Ability to decompose large tasks.
• Ability to understand data exchange protocol descriptions (XML/JSON).
• Domain modelling using BPMN and UML notations.
• Ability to use Jira as a user (knowledge of basic task types, their business processes, and accounting rules).
• Ability to develop technical documentation, create descriptions of interactions at the business process level.
• Ability to conduct presentations and create and provide reports.
• Ability to create technical metrics and experience in further visualising them through tools and interpreting them.
• Level of English – from Intermediate and above.
