Product Owner

Summary

The IT company Andersen invites an experienced Product Owner to work on a project for our partner in Malta.

The customer has been leading the innovation of the iGaming industry since 2012. The project aims to enhance product offerings to be more intuitive, innovative, and visually appealing while ensuring player safety, with a focus on tailored success criteria and collaboration with brand, software engineers, product managers, and growth teams to achieve desired outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Conducting market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for product enhancements.
• Driving initiatives to improve player engagement, retention, and lifetime value.
• Ensuring exceptional user experience while maintaining security, privacy, and regulatory - compliance.
• Staying ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Serving as a liaison between the Casino team and internal stakeholders.
• Communicating product updates and key performance indicators.
• Facilitating workshops, product reviews, and sprint planning sessions.
• Collaborating with Marketing and Customer Support to enhance user acquisition and r- etention.
• Owning the product backlog and ensuring timely delivery.
• Collaborating on product strategy and key initiatives.
• Translating player needs and business requirements into actionable features.
• Working with cross-functional teams to implement innovative gaming solutions.
• Driving the development of new game features and platform improvements.

Requirements

• Experience as a Product Owner for 3+ years.
• Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in the iGaming or casino industry.
• Experience working with Agile development teams and managing product backlogs.
• Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.

Desired skills

• Strong knowledge of player engagement strategies, gamification, and monetization models.
• Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, AML, responsible gaming).
• Product ownership certification (CSPO, PSPO, or equivalent).
• Experience with casino content management systems, third-party integrations, or similar platforms.
