The IT company Andersen invites an experienced Lead Backend Developer (.NET) to work on a large-scale project for one of our European customers.
The customer is the leading GameTech company in Greece and one of the fastest growing in Europe. Founded in 2012, the company specializes in providing online gaming services. The company is actively expanding its presence in international markets, including Europe, Latin America, Africa, and North America.
The project is the migration of an existing application from .NET Framework to the latest version of .NET 8.
Responsibilities
- Developing a detailed migration plan, including timelines, milestones, and risk assessments.
- Communicating the migration strategy to the customer and discussing pros and cons of the suggested approach.
- Converting project files from the .NET Framework format to the .NET Core format.
- Ensuring all necessary configurations and settings are correctly applied.
- Minimizing the impact of the migration changes on the solution behavior.
- Leading the migration team.
Requirements
- Experience as a .NET Developer for 7+ years.
- Proficiency both in .NET Framework and .NET Core.
- Deep understanding of .NET Framework and .NET Core differences.
- Experience of migrating applications from .NET Framework to .NET Core.
- Knowledge of the pitfalls of in-place migration.
- Capability of coming up with solutions to migration challenges.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.
