Backend Developer (.NET)

Summary

Andersen, an international IT сompany, invites a Backend Developer (.NET) to work on a large-scale project for one of our US customers.

The customer is a global corporate travel payment solution owned and operated by the world’s airlines. The network consists of major airlines that issue charge cards accepted by thousands of merchants around the world for air, rail, cruise and travel agency payments.

The project involves the complete refactoring of a monolithic application into a more modular structure resembling an onion architecture. The environment uses .NET 8, with updates occurring regularly, following a database-first approach.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements and define technical solutions.
• Designing, developing, and optimizing software using the .NET framework, ensuring scalability, security, and maintainability.
• Enhancing existing applications and development processes for improved efficiency.
• Writing clean, secure, and well-documented code while troubleshooting and resolving issues.
• Developing unit tests and collaborating with QA to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Optimizing performance, managing source code with Git, and contributing to automated build and deployment processes.
• Maintaining technical documentation and staying updated on industry trends.
• Participating in meetings and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.

Requirements

• Experience as a .NET Developer for 4+ years.
• Strong expertise in C# and the .NET Framework, with a solid grasp of OOP and design patterns.
• Proficiency in ASP.NET, MVC, Web API, and front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, Stored Procedures, and Database Design.
• Familiarity with tools like Jira and Confluence.
• Experience with payment applications (PCI compliance preferred).
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.

Desired skills

• Experience with Blazor.
