Summary

Andersen, an international IT company, is looking for an experienced L1 Support Specialist onsite in Dublin, Ireland to work on a project in the field of Fintech.

The customer is an Irish-based company that provides online commerce businesses with financing to grow their businesses. The company currently operates in 11 markets worldwide and is backed by a number of leading FinTech investors, including DST Global, QED Investors and Left Lane.

The task is to assist with office network setup, computer configuration, and to resolve any technical issues that users may encounter.

The position requires working from the office in Dublin.

Responsibilities

  • Providing first-line technical support to onsite users, addressing hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Setting up and configure desktops, laptops, and peripheral equipment for new and existing employees.
  • Assisting in maintaining and troubleshooting the office network, including Wi-Fi, LAN, and printer connectivity.
  • Documenting support requests and solutions in the ticketing system, ensuring timely follow-ups and resolutions.
  • Collaborating with IT teams to escalate and resolve more complex issues when needed.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a 1st line or helpdesk support role, preferably in an office environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and/or macOS, Microsoft Office, and basic networking concepts (e.g., IP, DNS, VPN).
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills with a proactive, hands-on approach.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.
