The IT company Andersen invites a Business/System Analyst to join its team for working with a company from the UK.
The customer is the leading international transport provider. The company operates bus, coach, and rail services across various regions including the UK, continental Europe, North Africa, and North and South America. In 2023, it reported revenue of £3.15 billion, reflecting its strong global presence.
The project involves developing a configurable web and app solution, integrated with existing systems to accelerate delivery and enhance customer conversion and retention.
Responsibilities
- Working closely with the product owner, developers, and architects to understand what the API needs to do.
- Collecting, clarifying, and documenting functional and technical requirements for new APIs.
- Defining API request/response structures, data flows, and key business logic.
- Helping identify missing features and gaps between the current system and the new platform.
- Writing clear and structured API documentation (e.g. using Swagger/OpenAPI).
- Supporting the team in planning and breaking down features into understandable and testable items.
- Being involved in day-to-day team work: refinements, reviews, sprint planning, backlog grooming.
Requirements
- Commercial experience as a Business Analyst for 3+ years.
- Experience in developing software documentation.
- Deep knowledge in all techniques of requirements elicitation, experience in requirements management.
- Strong analytical skills to critically evaluate information from multiple sources.
- Experience in managing a backlog and decomposing and prioritizing tasks.
- Ability to modify a chosen approach in response to changing stakeholders, conditions, circumstances, and feedback.
- Experience in modeling business processes (at least BPMN/UML).
- Experience in Agile (Scrum) methodologies.
- Knowledge of requirements management tools (at least Jira and Confluence).
- Level of English – Upper-Intermediate and above.
