The IT company Andersen invites a Junior QA Engineer to work on a large-scale project for one of our Canadian partners.
The customer is a luxury travel technology and procurement company with industry-leading booking platforms that enhance the efficiency of travel professionals and maximize their revenue opportunities. The company handles over $1 billion in transactions annually and has a team of 2,200+ travel experts.
The project is an actual web platform (travel services industry) for clients in the North American market.
Responsibilities
- Designing and maintaining test cases aligned with user stories and business goals.
- Analyzing test results, report issues, and collaborating with the team on resolutions.
- Defining and enforcing QA standards for new and existing applications.
- Ensuring testing covers functional, business, and user expectations.
- Communicating test status, risks, and progress to the team and stakeholders.
- Reviewing results, document exceptions, and preparing release sign-offs.
- Maintaining QA documentation and supporting continuous improvement.
- Actively contributing to team discussions and proposing process enhancements.
Requirements
- Experience in QA or a related field for 1+ year.
- Experience with API testing.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to design effective test plans.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
- Ability to assess software from both technical and user perspectives.
- Strong time management, multitasking, and prioritization skills.
- Experience with SQL and test case management tools.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.
