Flutter Developer

Summary

The IT company Andersen invites an experienced Flutter Developer to work on a large-scale eCommerce project.

The customer is a multinational company headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, and it operates in more than 130 countries worldwide. With a focus on quality, innovation, and sustainability, it is committed to meeting the evolving needs of adult tobacco consumers.

The project is the development of the eCommerce platform for delivering reduced-risk products. This branch started as a start-up inside the client's business and has grown in a separate direction.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing high-quality Flutter applications with clean, maintainable, and scalable architecture.
• Leading technical decisions and contributing to architectural improvements and best practices.
• Collaborating closely with product, design, and QA teams to deliver polished, user-centric experiences.
• Integrating REST APIs and third-party SDKs using Dio, Retrofit, and other tools.
• Driving performance, security, and reliability improvements across the app.
• Conducting code reviews and mentoring junior/mid-level Flutter developers.
• Ensuring quality through unit, widget, and integration testing.
• Contributing to CI/CD processes and overall project tooling.

Requirements

• Professional mobile development experience for 4+ years, with at least 2+ years in Flutter.
• Strong knowledge of Flutter SDK, Dart, and cross-platform development best practices.
• Solid experience with state management using flutter_bloc or equivalent patterns.
• Experience with DI frameworks like get_it and injectable.
• Hands-on expertise in working with REST APIs, serialization, and networking (Dio, Retrofit).
• Familiarity with local storage and secure data handling (sembast, flutter_secure_storage).
• Experience with geolocation, Bluetooth (BLE), notifications, and biometric authentication.
• Proficient in testing practices (unit, widget, integration tests).
• Experience with internationalization and accessibility.
• Familiarity with performance monitoring tools (e.g., New Relic).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate.
