.NET Developer (with Angular)

Summary

The IT company Andersen invites a .NET Developer (with Angular) to work on a large-scale project for one of our Canadian partners.

The customer is a luxury travel technology and procurement company with industry-leading booking platforms that enhance the efficiency of travel professionals and maximize their revenue opportunities. The company handles over $1 billion in transactions annually and has a team of 2,200+ travel experts.

The project is an actual web platform (travel services industry) for clients in the North American market.

The position assumes 12 to 21 CET work schedule.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining backend services in .NET 4.8 (Web API) and .NET Core as part of a large-scale migration from monolithic to microservice architecture.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable, maintainable, and performant services using CLEAN architecture and MediatR.
• Building and maintaining user-facing features using Angular.
• Integrating with SQL Server and MongoDB as data backends.
• Participating in Agile ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, retrospectives) within 2-week sprint cycles.
• Contributing to CI/CD practices using Azure DevOps (builds and pipelines).
• Collaborating via JIRA, Confluence, GitHub, and Microsoft Teams.

Requirements

• Experience with .NET, including strong experience with .NET Core and .NET Framework 4.8 (Web API), for 5+ years.
• Proficiency in Angular for frontend development.
• Deep understanding of microservice architecture, CLEAN architecture patterns, and MediatR.
• Solid experience with SQL Server and MongoDB.
• Experience with Azure Service Bus / NServiceBus.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and pipelines (preferably Azure DevOps).
• Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.

Desired skills

• Experience with Azure Functions, Azure Data Factory (ADF), or other Azure ecosystem tools.
• Previous experience in the travel industry, particularly with backend services for hotel booking/search.
