ServiceNow Solution Architect (in the EU)

Summary

Andersen is seeking a ServiceNow Solution Architect in the EU for a large-scale project in Germany. The role focuses on optimizing asset discovery and integration processes in a Windows-based environment using Jira Service Management.

The customer is a Berlin-based IT consulting company specializing in Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) solutions, particularly focused on integrating SAP systems with tools like Jira and ServiceNow. The company supports organizations in optimizing their change and release management processes, streamlining collaboration between IT and business teams. As a certified Atlassian Gold Partner, it provides custom connectors, archiving tools, and agile project management services to clients across industries such as automotive, finance, public sector, and manufacturing.

The project involves supporting the implementation and optimization of asset discovery processes for a client using an agent-based scanning solution integrated with Jira Service Management (Cloud). The environment is primarily Windows-based, with software deployments managed through Matrix42 Empirum.

Responsibilities

• Designing and defining the architecture of ServiceNow solutions that align with business needs and platform best practices.
• Developing scalable and maintainable solutions for new implementations and enhancements.
• Ensuring ServiceNow configurations meet enterprise architecture standards.
• Defining coding standards, governance processes, and best practices.
• Monitoring platform performance, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing optimization strategies.
• Planning and executing platform upgrades and patches with minimal disruption.

Requirements

• Experience as an Architect for 3+ years.
• Deep understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture, modules, and capabilities.
• Expertise in designing scalable, robust ServiceNow solutions.
• Strong experience with integrations, workflows, and automation processes.
• Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting, performance optimization, and security best practices. - Experience leading ServiceNow implementation projects and delivering enterprise-level solutions.
• Background in ITIL processes and frameworks.
• Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.
