Summary

Andersen is hiring a Frontend Developer (Angular) for a project with a Canadian travel tech company. The role focuses on supporting a web platform for booking services in the North American market.

The customer is a luxury travel technology and procurement company with industry-leading booking platforms that enhance the efficiency of travel professionals and maximize their revenue opportunities. The company handles over $1 billion in transactions annually and has a team of over 1600 travel experts. With a proprietary technology stack built entirely in-house, the company offers solutions that streamline booking processes, enhance profitability, and provide direct access to exclusive net-rate and commissionable travel products.

The project is an actual web platform (travel services industry) for clients in the North American market.

The position assumes 12 to 21 CET working hours.

Technology stack: Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS/SCSS, RESTful APIs, Postman, JSON, Git.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and maintaining Angular components and modules for scalable web applications.
  • Working closely with backend (.NET) developers to integrate RESTful APIs.
  • Optimizing UI performance, accessibility, and responsiveness.
  • Using modern Angular features: standalone components, reactive forms, RxJS, lazy loading.
  • Ensuring maintainable code using best practices (SOLID, DRY, separation of concerns).
  • Participating in code reviews, daily standups, and sprint planning.
  • Collaborating with QA engineers to design testable and robust components.
  • Contributing to CI/CD pipelines and version control processes (GitHub, Azure DevOps).

Requirements

  • Experience in frontend development using Angular for 2+ years.
  • Understanding of TypeScript, HTML5, CSS/SCSS.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, Postman, and handling JSON data.
  • Knowledge of component lifecycle, @Input/@Output, two-way binding.
  • Experience working with Git, branching strategies, and pull requests.
  • Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.

Desired skills

  • Exposure to Azure DevOps, CI/CD, or cloud deployments.
  • Understanding of JWT, authentication flows, or Redis caching.
  • Basic knowledge of testing frameworks (Jest, Jasmine, Karma).
  • Experience with charting, pagination, or complex UI patterns.
  • Interest in backend technologies (C#, .NET, SQL) for full-stack collaboration.
