Andersen is hiring a Frontend Developer (React) in India for a project with a Qatari automotive company. The role involves developing an eCommerce platform for pre-owned vehicles to boost user experience and online sales.

The customer is a prominent automotive company in Qatar, known for its long-standing presence in the market and exclusive distribution of globally renowned vehicle brands. The company has grown into a key player in the country's mobility sector, offering a full range of services including vehicle sales, after-sales support, parts supply, leasing, and mobility solutions. With a workforce of over 1,000 professionals, the customer is recognized for its commitment to quality, sustainability, and customer satisfaction, and has received multiple regional awards for outstanding performance and service standards.

The project is focused on designing, developing, and deploying an exclusive eCommerce website for pre-owned vehicle business operations. With a user-centric approach, the platform aims to enhance user experience, drive advanced customer engagement, boost brand recognition, and increase online sales revenue.

Responsibilities

• Working with clients to develop the overall look and design of a website.
• Writing website code with programming languages such as HTML and JS.
• Producing, maintaining, and modifying websites and user interfaces.
• Incorporating applications, graphics, video clips into client websites.
• Creating tools that enhance the user’s website experience.
• Ensuring websites are accessible across many platforms, including laptops and smartphones.
• Routinely testing websites for ease of use, speed and other quality factors.
• Fixing any website issues or bugs that arise.
• Integrating FE with AEM CMS.

Requirements

• Experience in frontend development for 3+ years.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript language, including its syntax and features.
• Strong understanding of the React framework and its core principles.
• Familiarity with the React ecosystem and Redux.
• Working experience with HTML5 and CSS3.
• Knowledge of server-side rendering.
• Ability to write efficient, secure, clean, and scalable JavaScript code.
• Familiarity with JavaScript testing.
• Knowledge of modern development tools like Git.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Knowledge about libraries for internationalization (implementing changes for English and Arabic).
• Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.
