Business Analyst

Summary

The IT сompany Andersen invites a Business Analyst with an opportunity to work on the side of our partner from Germany on an Entertainment/Marketplace project.

The customer is a German startup focused on driving innovation in the digital promotion space. With a mission to empower content providers, the company is developing solutions that combine secure online environments with effective marketing tools. It plans to expand its offerings by introducing a subscription-based marketplace, creating new opportunities for professionals to showcase their work and connect with audiences.

The project is to develop an online marketplace where potential users can register, choose from a variety of subscription plans, and promote their services.

Responsibilities

• Conducting stakeholder interviews (CEO/Product Owner, legal advisors, support team).
• Organizing workshops with potential users.
• Identifying explicit and implicit business needs.
• Translating high-level business goals into Epics, Features, and detailed User Stories (MoSCoW prioritization already provided).
• Defining MVP scope (MVP1, MVP2) for each product line.
• Building process diagrams (BPMN/UML).
• Creating user flows and wireframes in collaboration with the UX/UI designer.
• Benchmarking competing platforms.
• Identifying gaps the platform fills (trust, safety, UX, consolidation of services).

Requirements

• Commercial experience as a Business Analyst for 3+ years.
• Proven work with subscription models, multi-role systems, and moderation flows.
• Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum, MoSCoW prioritization, BPMN/UML, User Stories/Use Cases.
• Experience with eCommerce flows, payment gateway integrations, and analytics tools (e.g., Amplitude, GA4).
• Detail-oriented yet pragmatic — ability to balance business goals with feasibility.
• Level of English– from Upper-Intermediate and above.
• Level of German – from Upper-Intermediate and above.

Desired skills

• Experience in regulated industries (gaming, fintech, healthcare).
• Familiarity with privacy regulations (GDPR, ISO 27001) and age verification mechanisms.
