Summary

Andersen is hiring a Lead Salesforce Developer for a U.S. health-tech project. The role focuses on automating lead processing to improve sales efficiency and support data-driven decision-making in the healthcare sector.

The customer is a fast-growing health-tech company focused on transforming care delivery for individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). The customer has achieved significant milestones, including SOC 2 Type II certification, and supports a large network of practitioners and clients through secure, scalable platforms. Their mission-driven approach combines innovation, security, and a commitment to better outcomes across the behavioral healthcare continuum.

The project is focused on simplifying and automating lead processing for sales teams in healthcare companies. It streamlines the handling of incoming requests, builds sales forecasts, and predicts conversion rates to improve efficiency and support data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Designing, customizing, and implementing Salesforce solutions for healthcare workflows (patient engagement, case management, provider relations, compliance).
  • Utilizing Apex, Visualforce, LWC, and Salesforce Flow to deliver scalable customizations.
  • Collaborating with the senior Salesforce architect on robust, repeatable, and maintainable integration solutions.
  • Guiding Salesforce developers and promoting best practices in development, testing, and deployment.
  • Aligning technical solutions with business goals through close collaboration with analysts and stakeholders.
  • Architecting and managing integrations between Salesforce and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
  • Developing integrations with healthcare systems (EHR, billing, third-party APIs, FHIR), handling data mapping, ETL, and real-time sync.
  • Ensuring compliance with HIPAA, SOC-2 via encryption, access controls, and regular audits.
  • Monitoring performance, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing Salesforce orgs.
  • Staying updated on emerging healthcare IT and cloud technologies, recommending innovations (e.g., AI-driven analytics, low-code integrations).

Requirements

  • Experience in Salesforce for 4+ years with tech leadership experience on projects.
  • Strong proficiency in Salesforce ecosystems.
  • Experience with integrations.
  • Familiarity with data integration patterns (REST/SOAP APIs, event-driven architectures).
  • Programming skills in Apex, JavaScript, SQL, and integration frameworks.
  • Excellent leadership and communication abilities, with experience mentoring teams.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions in a collaborative environment.
  • Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.

Desired skills

  • Strong knowledge of integration tools (MuleSoft Anypoint, Boomi, or Salesforce APIs).
  • Prior experience in healthcare or regulated industries.
  • Familiarity with healthcare standards (FHIR, HL7).
  • Experience with cloud platforms beyond Salesforce (AWS, Azure, GCP) for data storage, analytics, and security.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (Git, Salesforce DX).
  • Background in data governance, big data tools (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery), or microservices architecture.
  • Understanding of healthcare-specific challenges, such as patient data interoperability or telehealth integrations.
