Frontend Developer (React Native)

Summary

Andersen is hiring a Frontend Developer (React Native) for a project with a global leader in digital entertainment. The role focuses on developing user-friendly platforms for TV, OTT, mobile, and in-car multimedia solutions.

The customer is a global provider of advanced entertainment solutions for TV operators and automakers, dedicated to making digital experiences simple, engaging, and personalized across all screens. The company has delivered more than 400 projects worldwide and employs around 300 specialists across Europe and North America. The project is focused on developing software platforms and user interfaces for TV, OTT services, mobile devices, and in-car multimedia systems. It covers UX/UI design, system integration, frontend and backend development, DevOps, and ongoing support to enable fast and flexible delivery of digital content.

Technology stack: React Native, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), Redux, React Navigation, REST API, Native Modules, Git, CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Developing high-quality and performant mobile applications using React Native.
• Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code in JavaScript (ES6) and TypeScript.
• Utilizing libraries such as React, React Native (including StyleSheet), React Navigation, and Redux for building user interfaces and managing application state.
• Integrating third-party libraries and components to extend app functionality.
• Working with REST APIs, JSON, and XML for data exchange between client and server.
• Interacting with Native Modules to implement native functionalities and platform-specific features.
• Using Git version control systems and participating in CI/CD workflows for automated building, testing, and deployment.
• Collaborating with designers to implement UI/UX solutions that match mockups and project requirements.
• Conducting unit testing and ensuring code quality.
• Working within Agile development methodologies, participating in sprint planning and team meetings.

Requirements

• Experience as a React Native Developer for 3+ years.
• Strong understanding of JavaScript, ES6+, and TypeScript.
• Proficiency in React Native, React Navigation, Redux, and related libraries.
• Experience integrating third-party libraries and APIs (REST, JSON, XML).
• Experience working with Native Modules.
• Knowledge of UI/UX principles and experience collaborating with designers.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD flows.
• Good understanding of unit testing and automated testing practices.
• Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate.

Desired skills

• Relevant certifications.
• Experience with native iOS/Android development (Swift, Objective-C, Java/Kotlin).
• Knowledge of Agile processes.
• Experience with accessibility (web and mobile).
• Experience using AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot).
