System Analyst

Summary

Andersen is hiring a System Analyst to support a global business association in modernizing its sustainability platform by auditing legacy systems and defining an optimal upgrade strategy.

The customer is a global business association that helps companies build ethical and sustainable supply chains. It provides tools for social and environmental due diligence, training, risk assessment, and stakeholder engagement, supporting over 2,400 members in advancing ESG initiatives across multiple industries.

The project is a sustainability platform modernization initiative. It focuses on auditing a legacy system built on outdated frameworks, identifying critical risks, and defining the optimal modernization strategy – selective refactoring or full system rewrite.

Responsibilities

• Conducting an IT audit of the client’s system.
• Eliciting and documenting business processes and SLAs.
• Studying and documenting system functionality and modules through workshops, documentation review, and white-label system access.
• Mapping external and internal integrations from an end-user perspective.
• Delivering artifacts such as integration maps (C4 and similar), Data Flow Diagrams (DFD), system and process documentation.
• Identifying optimization opportunities in workflows and integrations.
• Collaborating with the Solution Architect to ensure completeness of system architecture documentation.
• Conducting Q&A sessions and workshops with the customer to validate findings and ensure alignment.

Requirements

• Experience as a Business Analyst/System Analyst with a strong background in studying and documenting complex systems, their functionality, and modules for 3+ years.
• Proven ability to conduct workshops with stakeholders, analyze documentation, and explore systems via white-label access.
• Experience in producing technical and business artifacts, including integration maps (C4 and other relevant models), Data Flow Diagrams (DFD), and system documentation.
• Familiarity with IT audits, system assessments, and providing optimization recommendations for optimization.
• Domain expertise in ESG, Compliance, or ERP systems.
• Strong communication skills for interaction with both business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate+.
