Summary

Andersen is looking for a System/Business Analyst in Poland for a long-term B2B e-commerce platform in the travel insurance domain. The role involves supporting product enhancements and adapting solutions for multiple markets.

The customer is a global leader in insurance and digital solutions, serving over 200 million customers worldwide. With 13,000+ employees in 20+ countries, it delivers IT infrastructure and platforms, while its insurtech arm drives embedded insurance with $21M annual revenue across European markets.

The project is a long-term B2B e-commerce platform focused on travel insurance, continuously improved and adapted for use across multiple countries.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and delivering technical solutions to meet business needs.
  • Creating and maintaining clear technical documentation.
  • Gathering, validating, and documenting business requirements.
  • Participating in backlog refinement and supporting the development team.
  • Conducting manual testing to ensure solution quality.
  • Facilitating effective cross-team communication and collaboration.
  • Configuring systems to align with business processes.
  • Analyzing databases and providing insights.
  • Contributing to the analysis of user interfaces and related.
  • Preparing and delivering presentations for clients and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Commercial experience as a System/Business Analyst for 3+ years.
  • Strong skills in UML, Jira, and Confluence.
  • Extremely important experience in SQuirreL SQL Client (or any other SQL DB), Postman, REST, SOAP, SFTP, ELK stack.
  • Experience in capturing, analysing, and documenting business, user, and functional requirements.
  • Skilled in prototyping and business process modelling, with a strong focus on delivering solutions that align with customer needs.
  • Recognized for a creative and customer-centred approach in identifying optimal user solutions
  • The ability to think critically and understand complex systems.
  • Skill in troubleshooting technical issues and finding cost-effective solutions.
  • Effective communication is vital for understanding business needs and collaborating with stakeholders and Product Owners.
  • Level of English – from Upper Intermediate and above.
