Andersen invites a QA Engineer to join a project with a luxury travel tech company. The role focuses on ensuring quality and reliability of a web platform that supports travel professionals in the North American market.
The customer is a luxury travel technology and procurement company with industry-leading booking platforms that enhance the efficiency of travel professionals and maximize their revenue opportunities. The company handles over $1 billion in transactions annually and has a team of over 1600 travel experts. With a proprietary technology stack built entirely in-house, the company offers solutions that streamline booking processes, enhance profitability, and provide direct access to exclusive net-rate and commissionable travel products.
The project is an actual web platform (travel services industry) for clients in the North American market.
The position requires 14:00 - 23:00 CET working hours.
Responsibilities
- Keeping API documentation up to date and aligned with product changes.
- Performing manual API testing, including regression and exploratory testing.
- Creating, maintaining, and updating detailed test cases and test suites.
- Building and managing Postman collections for API testing.
- Writing and maintaining pre-request scripts to generate and prepare test data.
- Utilizying dynamic variables in Postman to enhance test coverage.
- Writing and executeing automated API tests using Postman snippets and JavaScript.
- Integrating Postman tests into CI/CD pipelines using Newman or similar tools.
- Collaborating with developers and stakeholders to ensure test coverage and quality standards.
Requirements
- Experience as a QA Engineer for 4+ years with a strong focus on API testing.
- Proficiency in API testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
- Strong understanding of RESTful principles and implementation.
- Proven expertise in Postman (collections, scripts, dynamic variables).
- Familiarity with integrating API tests into CI/CD pipelines using Newman or similar tools.
- Solid manual testing background (test case design, updates, regression runs).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.
