Summary

Andersen is hiring a Backend Developer (.NET) to support the development of an AI-powered search platform, enhancing efficiency, collaboration, and decision-making for a leading board management provider.

The customer is a leading provider of board management solutions, helping organizations streamline meetings, improve collaboration, and make informed decisions. Recognized with industry awards and trusted by thousands of clients worldwide, the company delivers secure, innovative tools that support transparency, efficiency, and effective governance.

The project is focused on building an AI-powered semantic search platform to replace the legacy Elasticsearch system. It leverages Azure AI Search to enable natural language queries and semantic understanding, delivering intelligent, context-aware results while ensuring compliance with complex organizational permission structures.

Technology stack: Event-Driven Architecture, C#/.NET Core, OpenFGA/Zanzibar Authorization Systems, Azure Service Bus, Azure Functions, Azure AI/Cognitive Search, SQL Server.

Responsibilities

  • Designing and implementing OpenFGA tuple structures for complex meeting permissions.
  • Building event handlers to maintain authorization state in OpenFGA.
  • Creating migration logic from homegrown authorization to FGA model.
  • Ensuring zero authorization gaps during the transition.
  • Maintaining high code quality with comprehensive unit tests.

Requirements

  • Experience in C#/.NET Core development for 4+ years.
  • Experience with event sourcing, CQRS, and message-based systems.
  • Strong backend development skills for event handlers and API development.
  • Experience with OpenFGA, Zanzibar-based systems, or similar relationship-based authorization models.
  • Familiarity with Azure Service Bus, Azure Functions, and Azure AI/Cognitive Search.
  • Experience with SQL Server and efficient tuple/relationship query optimization.
  • Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.

Desired skills

  • Experience using GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar AI tools to enhance development efficiency.
  • Direct experience with OpenFGA tuple modeling and check/write operations.
  • Experience transitioning from legacy to modern authorization systems.
  • Deep understanding of relationship-based permission models.
  • Active AWS/Azure Certifications.
