QA Engineer

Summary

Andersen invites a QA Engineer to join a project with a luxury travel tech company. The role focuses on ensuring quality and reliability of a web platform that supports travel professionals in the North American market.

The customer is a luxury travel technology and procurement company with industry-leading booking platforms that enhance the efficiency of travel professionals and maximize their revenue opportunities. The company handles over $1 billion in transactions annually and has a team of over 1600 travel experts. With a proprietary technology stack built entirely in-house, the company offers solutions that streamline booking processes, enhance profitability, and provide direct access to exclusive net-rate and commissionable travel products.

The project is an actual web platform (travel services industry) for clients in the North American market.

The position requires 13:00 - 21:00 CET working hours.

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test plans for APIs and UI.
• Performing functional, regression, and integration testing for backend and frontend components.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify, report, and resolve defects.
• Contributing to continuous improvement of QA processes and practices.
• Testing from both technical and end-user perspectives to ensure product usability.

Requirements

• Experience as a QA Engineer for 2+ years with a strong focus on API testing.
• Proven, advanced experience in API testing (designing test strategies, building complex scenarios, working with tools like Postman, Swagger, or similar).
• Experience with Selenium and Java, or strong motivation to develop in this area.
• Solid experience writing and executing test plans and test cases.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Level of English – from Intermediate plus and above.

Desired skills

• Automation experience with Selenium (Java or C#), or a strong willingness to learn.
