Summary

Andersen is hiring an Application Support Engineer (Salesforce) for a U.S. health-tech project. The role focuses on automating lead processing to improve sales efficiency and support data-driven decision-making in the healthcare sector.

The customer is a fast-growing health-tech company focused on transforming care delivery for individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). The customer has achieved significant milestones, including SOC 2 Type II certification, and supports a large network of practitioners and clients through secure, scalable platforms. Their mission-driven approach combines innovation, security, and a commitment to better outcomes across the behavioral healthcare continuum.

The project is focused on simplifying and automating lead processing for sales teams in healthcare companies. It streamlines the handling of incoming requests, builds sales forecasts, and predicts conversion rates to improve efficiency and support data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Level 2/3 support for enterprise applications and act as an escalation point for complex issues.
  • Troubleshoot application issues by analyzing logs, databases, APIs, and integrations
  • Collaborate with senior developers to provide detailed technical insights when escalating issues.
  • Partner with DevOps and QA teams to identify, reproduce, and validate fixes for defects in production.
  • Monitor application health and performance using tools such as Sentry or Datadog
  • Support application deployments, patching, manual configuration, and post-release validation.
  • Collaborate with business users and product owners to capture requirements, explain technical solutions, and provide excellent customer service.
  • Document root cause analyses, technical procedures, and best practices to build organizational knowledge.
  • Develop scripts or automation to reduce manual effort and improve response times.
  • Ensure all incidents and service requests are resolved within defined SLA timelines.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support when needed.

Requirements

  • Experience in application support (Salesforce) or production support engineering for 3+ years.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Technical experience in Salesforce.
  • Hands-on experience with Linux/Unix and scripting (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, relational databases, and query optimization.
  • Experience with APIs, web services, and system integrations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.

Desired skills

  • Salesforce Platform Developer Certification (or equivalent Salesforce experience).
  • Experience with Salesforce, ERP, or CRM systems.
  • Technical experience in ServiceNow.
  • Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of ITSM processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management) and tools such as ServiceNow or JIRA.
  • Knowledge of ITIL framework or relevant certification.
  • Exposure to containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and monitoring/alerting best practices.
