The IT company Andersen invites a Project Manager in Abu Dhabi to join its team for working with a company from the UAE.

The customer is a government entity that manages public affairs and oversees various corporate and philanthropic projects. The company is embarking on a transformative digital journey to enhance its operational efficiency and customer experiences.

The project focuses on digital transformation in the UAE to develop and support digital solutions, enhance social services, strengthen public engagement, advance international relations, and optimize administrative processes.

Responsibilities

  • Leading the discovery phase to gather requirements, define project scope, and align stakeholder expectations.
  • Developing project plans, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with teams and stakeholders.
  • Managing project execution, ensuring tasks are completed on time and within budget.
  • Monitoring risks, dependencies, and potential roadblocks.
  • Facilitating communication between teams, clients, and senior management.
  • Overseeing resource allocation and workload distribution to optimize team performance.
  • Ensuring adherence to Agile, Scrum, or other relevant project management methodologies.
  • Conducting regular progress reviews, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Managing budgets, contracts, and procurement processes as needed.
  • Tracking KPIs and ensuring project alignment with business goals.
  • Handling change management, adapting project scope and priorities as needed.
  • Preparing and presenting status reports, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Ensuring project documentation, reports, and best practices are maintained for future reference.

Requirements

  • Experience as a Project Manager for 4+ years.
  • Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies, such as Scrum, and Kanban.
  • Ability to risk management, including identifying, analyzing, and mitigating risks.
  • Stakeholder management abilities to engage with clients, executives, and team members.
  • Budgeting and resource allocation skills to manage financial and human resources effectively.
  • Time management and prioritization skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address issues proactively.
  • Negotiation and conflict resolution skills to ensure smooth collaboration and resolve disputes.
  • Communication and reporting skills with clear, structured, and professional communication.
  • Technical understanding, especially a basic grasp of IT, software development, or industry-specific tools.
  • Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.

Desired skills

  • Level of Arabic – from Upper-Intermediate and above.
