The IT-company Andersen invites a Junior QA Engineer to work on the project of our partner from Germany.
The customer is the company with employees from 44 countries, which creates advanced infotainment systems for various automotive brands. Their solutions, based on cutting-edge software, are available in around a thousand variants, from central infotainment control units to instrument clusters. Since 2020, the company has been a subsidiary of a major automotive group.
The project is focused on developing and testing Android Automotive–based infotainment systems, covering areas such as speech recognition, navigation, connectivity, and media integration to deliver optimal in-car experiences.
This position involves working in the office in Warsaw.
The main technical stack on the project: Polarion, Jira, TestRail, Bash, Linux, CAN bus, CANoe, CANalyzer.
Responsibilities
- Validating infotainment features such as Bluetooth connectivity, media, navigation, smartphone projection (Android Auto / Apple CarPlay), and system performance.
- Creating, updating, and maintaining test documentation, including test cases, reports, and defect tracking records.
- Documenting and reporting test results, issues, and logs using Polarion (tool such as Jira and TestRail)
- Supporting the team in running or maintaining simple Bash scripts for automation and test environment setup (optional)
- Collaborating closely with teams to ensure high-quality software deliveries.
Requirements
- Experience as a QA Manual for 6+ months.
- Basic understanding of Android and/or iOS systems.
- Interest in embedded systems and automotive technologies.
- Strong documentation skills - ability to write clear, structured, and detailed reports.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow structured test procedures.
- Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.
Desired skills
- Basic knowledge of CAN bus and automotive testing tools (e.g., CANoe, CANalyzer) or other communication protocol.
- Experience with Bash scripting and Linux environments.
- Familiarity with issue-tracking or test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
- Previous exposure to manual testing or QA processes (academic or professional).
