Junior ServiceNow Developer (EU)

Summary

Andersen is hiring a Junior ServiceNow Developer in the EU to support and enhance a ServiceNow platform, improving stability, automation, integrations, and expanding features.

The customer is a global engineering and technology partner working across the mobility and industrial sectors. The company develops advanced software and system solutions for vehicles, powertrains, and emerging digital mobility services. With international teams and strong expertise in both hardware and software, it focuses on sustainable technologies, including electric mobility and intelligent automated systems.

The project is centered on enhancing and maintaining the ServiceNow platform, focusing on stability, automation, integrations, and expanding functionality. Upcoming priorities include introducing AI-driven support features and implementing workplace service management capabilities such as workspace and equipment booking.

Responsibilities

• Configuring, customizing, and enhancing the ServiceNow platform according to business requirements.
• Developing and supporting custom applications, workflows, scripts, and integrations.
• Ensuring proper functioning and performance of Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, CMDB,
• Providing technical support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution related to ServiceNow modules.
• Managing platform upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities.
• Developing and maintaining reports, dashboards, and performance analytics for service operations.
• Documenting technical solutions, configurations, and support procedures.

Requirements

• Experience with ServiceNow for 6+ months.
• Understanding of core ServiceNow modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, CMDB).
• Familiarity with ServiceNow configuration vs. customization principles and platform best practices.
• Ability to analyze requirements and translate them into technical tasks.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail when troubleshooting and resolving issues.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Level of English – from Intermediate and above.

Desired skills

• CAD (Certified Application Developer).
• Knowledge of REST/SOAP integrations and API fundamentals.
• Level of German – from Intermediate and above.
