Summary

Andersen is hiring a ServiceNow Programmer in the EU for a global mobility tech company. The role focuses on enhancing the ServiceNow platform, automating workflows, and building integrations.

The customer is a global engineering and technology partner working across the mobility and industrial sectors. The company develops advanced software and system solutions for vehicles, powertrains, and emerging digital mobility services. With international teams and strong expertise in both hardware and software, it focuses on sustainable technologies, including electric mobility and intelligent automated systems.

The project is focused on enhancing and supporting a ServiceNow platform with an emphasis on automation, complex workflows, and REST integrations, while expanding functionality in areas like AI, Workspace Management, and asset/process optimization.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing end-to-end project delivery on the ServiceNow platform, ensuring scope, timelines, and quality targets are met.
• Managing project planning, execution, and reporting, aligning deliverables with client expectations and internal capacity.
• Coordinating cross-functional teams (ServiceNow developers, architects, QA, and business analysts) to ensure smooth collaboration and timely issue resolution.
• Facilitating client communication, handling expectations, risks, and escalations with transparency and professionalism.
• Driving requirement clarification and ensuring alignment between business goals and technical implementation.
• Maintaining project documentation: charters, timelines, risk registers, change logs, and progress reports.
• Collaborating with Service Delivery and Operations teams to ensure post-go-live support and knowledge transfer.
• Configuring and customizing the platform to align with business processes.
• Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting incidents.
• Managing platform upgrades and patching.
• Handling user administration, roles, and access control.

Requirements

• Experience with ServiceNow for 2+ years.
• Strong understanding of the ServiceNow platform, including core modules like ITSM, ITOM, ITBM.
• Experience with Incident, Problem, Change Management, CMDB, and Service Catalog modules.
• Proficiency in JavaScript for scripting and automations within ServiceNow.
• Knowledge of database concepts and ability to write SQL queries relevant to ServiceNow.
• Familiarity with APIs and integrations (REST, SOAP) for connecting ServiceNow with other systems.
• Level of English – from Intermediate and above.

Desired skills

• CAD (Certified Application Developer).
• Level of German – from Intermediate and above.
• Understanding ITIL framework and applying its principles within ServiceNow.
