Summary

Andersen is hiring a System/Business Analyst in Tashkent to support a leading digital bank. The role involves developing and improving card products to enhance functionality, performance, and user experience.

The customer is a modern digital bank operating in Central Asia, providing a full range of financial services for individuals and businesses through mobile and online platforms. The institution focuses on simplifying everyday banking with user-friendly digital tools, 24/7 support, and innovative payment solutions. It is recognized for its strong contribution to the development of digital banking in the region, continuous technological advancement, and commitment to enhancing customer experience through automation and service accessibility.

The project is focused on leading the card products team responsible for developing new features and improving existing functionality. The goal is to enhance system performance, expand product capabilities, and ensure a smooth user experience across all card-related services.

Responsibilities

  • Analyzing business requirements and transforming them into system specifications and technical requirements.
  • Developing and maintaining documentation: functional and non-functional requirements, API specifications, data flow diagrams, and integration scenarios.
  • Collaborating with business analysts, architects, development, and QA teams.
  • Participating in system and integration architecture design (REST, Kafka, microservices, data buses).
  • Preparing and aligning Use Cases, User Stories, Data Mapping, and database schemas.
  • Participating in testing: verifying correct implementation of requirements, supporting the QA team.
  • Supporting release processes: managing changes and maintaining version documentation.

Requirements

  • Experience as a System Analyst in the banking or fintech domain for 3+ years.
  • Deep understanding of integration processes and microservices architecture.
  • Knowledge of REST API, SOAP, Kafka, or similar message brokers.
  • Skills in writing SQL queries and understanding database structures.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, Swagger, Postman.
  • Understanding of the full SDLC and Agile practices (Scrum/Kanban).
  • Ability to clearly formulate requirements and document complex processes.
  • Level of English – from Intermediate and above.

Desired skills

  • Experience integrating with credit pipelines, scoring, or payment systems.
  • Knowledge of BPMN/UML and experience with Enterprise Architect or Draw.io.
  • Basic knowledge of testing and understanding of CI/CD processes.
