Summary

Andersen is hiring a FullStack Engineer (React+ Node.js) to help enhance and scale a global personalized photo product platform by building performant, maintainable full-stack solutions.

The customer is a long-standing provider of personalized photo products operating across several international markets. The organization is known for its high quality standards, strong data protection practices, and commitment to sustainability. Its products regularly receive industry recognition, supporting its reputation as a reliable and customer-focused producer.

The project is centered on enhancing and expanding the company’s digital product ecosystem, with a strong focus on performance, scalability, and long-term maintainability. The team is responsible for developing robust full-stack solutions that improve user experience and strengthen the overall technical foundation of the platform.

Responsibilities

  • Designing, developing, and technically enhancing complex frontend modules and interfaces.
  • Building and maintaining reusable component libraries and design systems for consistent user experiences.
  • Managing the integration of modern interfaces and services into existing backend structures.
  • Ensuring performance, stability, and consistency across various platforms and devices.
  • Establishing automated tests as an integral part of the development process.
  • Fostering technical excellence through code reviews, architectural feedback, and standardization of best practices.
  • Collaborating closely with product, design, QA, backend, and DevOps teams to ensure a consistent overall approach.
  • Evaluating new technologies, frameworks, and tools to continuously improve development processes.

Requirements

  • Experience as Full-Stack Engineer experience for 4+ years.
  • Excellent knowledge of modern frontend technologies such as React, TypeScript, CSS frameworks and backend technologies such as Node.js or С#.
  • Solid experience in building and maintaining design systems and component libraries.
  • Solid understanding of API design and integration (REST, GraphQL).
  • Experience in performance optimization and implementing scalable architectures.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD workflows and cloud deployment.
  • Strong quality awareness, analytical thinking, and a keen sense of UX and product quality.
  • Level of German – from Intermediate+ and above.
  • Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.

Desired skills

  • University degree, university of applied sciences degree, ETH degree, or n equivalent qualification with relevant professional experience.
  • Knowledge of cross-platform frameworks (e.g., Capacitor).
