Andersen is hiring an Android Developer in Krakow with a hybrid work format. The role involves enhancing and implementing digital banking features, expanding functionality, and supporting customized solutions for financial sector clients.
The customer is a global provider of digital solutions for the financial sector. Their platform helps organizations enhance online and mobile services, improve customer interactions across touchpoints, and streamline internal workflows. With a focus on user-centered design, data-informed personalization, and efficient product development, the company supports financial institutions in their digital transformation and helps them operate more effectively in a competitive environment.
The project is focused on developing and expanding new digital banking solutions, including financial operations and data export features, while implementing and customizing these capabilities for external clients.
Responsibilities
- Delivering high-quality Android applications and providing fast, reliable support for banks and financial institutions.
- Collaborating closely with front-end consultants and working directly with customers or partners to implement mobile solutions.
- Developing tailor-made code that integrates mobile products seamlessly with customer systems, using primarily native Android technologies and occasionally hybrid approaches.
- Training and supporting on-site development teams, offering expert guidance during technical decision-making processes.
- Taking a leading role in mobile-related aspects of projects, creating development roadmaps, and ensuring a continuous feedback loop between customers and the R&D team.
- Experimenting with emerging technologies and contributing to new product development initiatives.
Requirements
- Experience in Android client application development for 3+ years.
- Commercial development experience with Kotlin and Java.
- Familiarity with Android Architecture Components, Clean Architecture, and Jetpack Navigation.
- Strong understanding of Android SDK and REST principles.
- Experience with Koin for dependency injection.
- Proficiency with architectural patterns (MVVM, MVP, or MVI).
- Experience writing unit and UI tests (JUnit, Mockito, Espresso).
- Practical experience with Kotlin Coroutines and Kotlin Flow.
- Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies (Scrum).
- Knowledge of library publishing processes.
- Solid understanding of OOP and SOLID principles.
- Experience working with Git.
- Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.
